Shahibzadey: A Saga of Valor and Sacrifice

First ever animated movie produced about Sikh History will be show at eleventh Punjabi American festival on May 29th, 2005 at Yuba Sutter fairgrounds.

This movie is produced by a Vismaad, is a leading IT Consulting and Solutions Company based in Singapore. It is a close to one hundred US dollars project, first of its kind.

In the modern world with its global realities, the Sikh/Punjabi community is facing multitude of challenges. Inspired by a recent survey revealed that 80% Sikh youth in Punjab do not remember the names of Sikh Gurus, Vismaad decided to go on this venture to educate the youth about their glorious history and heritage. This animated movie will also help others (non Sikhs) understand our rich history and glorious sacrifice by Sahibzadey (7 and 9 year old sons of Guru Gobind Singh who were bricked alive by Mogul Governor of Sirhind in 1704) and Sikh Gurus for cause freedom and preserving great values. This movie is 50 minutes in duration and language medium is English and Punjabi.
